Currently 2016 – Happy New Year!

Hello blog! I know it’s been awhile, but it’s a new year so maybe that will change…

Linking up with Farley to start the year off!

Listening: We’ve been re-watching all of the 30 Rock episodes on Netflix. We’re onto season 6 now!

Loving: No explanation needed here! I think we all love having days off!!

Thinking: My hubby keeps asking me what I want to do today. Part of me wants to head out, somewhere, anywhere. But, the other part of me just wants to sit on my couch.

…which leads me to….

Wanting: I love sitting the couch, watching TV, playing around on the laptop… I want more couch time!! (But I also know I could be more productive in my office…)

Needing: I’m such a bookworm! I love breaks because I get to read so many books!! I’m currently reading 2 books which I normally don’t do, but one is on my Kindle and I don’t like to read on there right before bed. I know I won’t have time to be involved in 2 books once we go back to school so I need to keep reading!

One Little Word: POSITIVITY! My husband is a very, very positive person. Being with him for the last 6 years has made me take a more positive outlook on life. It can be hard sometimes, but I know that being positive will make me happier on the inside and out, so 2016 is a year to continue my positive ways!

Happy New Year!!!

I'm reading See How They Run by Ally Carter, it's the 2nd book in a series. Also reading the 10th anniversary edition of Twilight called Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined 🙂 Best book I read over break was November 9 by Colleen Hoover!

I am glad that I am not the only one who loves couch time!! It makes me feel guilty, but it rejuvenates me too! Today is definitely a couch/pj day for me too! We may head out for a burger and a beer…but that's about as ambitious as I'm gonna get today. Enjoy the rest of your break!

Seriously, when Christmas break started for me on 24th, we had to start the running of all the different relatives houses, it continued until 27th 🙁 When I woke up on the 28th I was so excited to not have to go anywhere and just hang out on the couch!! I know EXACTLY what you mean by more couch time!

Wishing you all the best in 2016!

Oh my, I just finished reading two books at the same time! I rarely do that, but one of them was a heavily detailed book and it was tiresome, so I read a young teen book at the same time! Sometimes I can do a fiction and a nonfiction book together, but I do tend to mix up the characters with two fiction books! Have a great January!

We were lucky enough to be gifted this Little Genius Starter Kit and it is the coolest thing ever! My 4 year old is hooked and I love that she's learning while playing on the iPad. ➡️ Swipe to check out the letter formation game she was working on.

From phonics and numbers to storytelling and coding, there are so many games, activities and kits to choose from! There's even a Disney Frozen activity kit that I may already have hidden away for Hanukkah!

Osmo would be the perfect addition to any classroom too (especially if you already have an iPad!) I could see this being used during reading or math centers. How would you use Osmo in your classroom??
