December Currently!

Well, I thought about the Currently on the 30th… and then it didn’t even cross my mind until I was getting into bed the night of the 1st! The first day back to school after Thanksgiving break just wiped me out, but it’s only the 2nd so I’m not too late!

Happy to be linking up again with Farley!

Listening: I love Wheel of Fortune! It’s my dream to be on this show one day!!

Loving: I think I’ve used this one before, but I seriously adore my supportive husband. Today was a rough day with one of my students and the moment I come home and he sees the look on my face, he just wraps me in a hug and holds me tight. Makes everything better!!

Thinking: Thanksgiving break just messed me up! Not that I’m complaining about having a full week off…. but my sleep schedule is so out of whack now! I MUST go to bed at a “decent” time tonight!!!

Wanting: Wouldn’t it be awesome if dinner just made itself?? You’re probably asking ‘What about that amazing supportive husband you just talked about?’ Well… he had to leave for the evening so if I want to eat, I better get in the kitchen! (As I sit here doing the Currently instead…)

Needing: It was cool for about a day down here in Tampa-land. I’m not a big fan of cold weather, but 60’s would be nice! It would at least make it feel like winter is almost here!

Cute word scrambles! I could have almost written your Currently. I have a wonderful husband. I certainly DID want dinner to cook itself. (It didn't.) I REALLY need to get to bed earlier. I had 4 days off, and I stayed up too late. It's cold enough for me, though. I'm here in Connecticut. It's been pretty warm for December (in the 40s and 50s). I hope the rest of your week goes well!

So funny! You're wishing to have cooler weather and I can't wait to escape the sleet, snow and freezing rain to come to beautiful, sunny Florida next week. Maybe you can keep the cool away for just one more week! LOL

Supportive husbands are the best! I am blessed with one myself! Wheel is one of my faves too! I'm not very good at it but it is fun to pretend to be!
    Happy December!

It starts at home πŸ–€πŸ€ŽπŸ€ Did some coloring It starts at home πŸ–€πŸ€ŽπŸ€

Did some coloring with my girl today using Bellen's @morethanpeachproject crayons.

We talked about the different shades of peach and brown that we were using. We found crayons to match our skin and the skin color of Doc McStuffins on the shirt she was wearing today. The reaction from her was "oooooh look at all the browns!!" 🀎

Today is a great day to support Black-owned businesses. If you haven't seen these crayons before, please go visit Bellen's page and check them out.

I made these simple and fun letter practice pages recently and wanted to share them with you all!! Head to the link in my bio to find out more on my blog.

I wrote the letters on sticker dots and had her match the lowercase letters to uppercase letters.

Side note: This girl does NOT like doing learning activities like this so the fact that she willingly did these makes me so happy and proud!!

Those little hands couldn't wait to play!!

One of our go to activities the past week has been our Hanukkah sensory bin. I used blue rice, cookie cutters, dreidels, and added a few pom poms for a different texture.

She also had various cups, containers, and spoons to use for scooping, filling, and pouring.
