I seriously cannot believe that it’s already June, but here we go!
Listening: Mr. and Mrs. Smith is one of my absolute favorite movies! I can recite most of the lines. A good friend of mine sent me a text to let me know it was on and now I’ll be hooked in for the next couple hours!
Loving: This is the last week of school and I pretty much have all the days set up with fun activities (camping day tomorrow!) There’s no need for my big binder and all the planning today and I’m loving it!
Thinking: I know I might be biased but I really think my husband is the best! We hung out with some teacher friends and their husbands last night – 5 teachers in one place and you tend to get sidetracked with teacher talk just a little bit… Then, this morning he did all the lawn work before the rain came and now he’s ironing! Woohoo!
Wanting: As excited as I am for summer, I will be sad to see this group of kids go. They challenged me, taught me, and made me laugh. I’m looking forward to this last week with them and having a little fun!
Needing: I have a real problem with finishing the laundry. This happens every Sunday. Do a couple loads. Leave them in there. Forget about them. Remember at 9 or 10:00 at night. And repeat the next Sunday!
Summer Bucket List: Last week we booked a hotel for a weekend on the beach at the end of the month. We’ll be celebrating our first anniversary! We’re only heading about an hour away from home, but it’ll be nice to get away and spend time together! I know I’ll be doing a lot of reading and relaxing, but my other big summer plan is to reorganize all my files. Started bringing everything home last week and I’m hoping I will actually hold myself to completing this big project!
What’s your plans for the summer? I’d love to hear them in the comments!
What's your favorite cereal?? It's hard for me to choose between Lucky Charms and Froot Loops! I totally forgot I made these fun "lucky marshmallow" number cards last year! You can grab them for FREE at the link below.I'll be printing these out to use at home with my kiddo. "Yucky Charms" is one of her favorite cereals 😂 We'll work on one-to-one correspondence to match the marshmallows to the pictures. We'll also work on not eating all the marshmallows until after we finish the activity!➡️ bit.ly/luckynumbercards ... See MoreSee Less

⭐ NEW MONTH ⭐ NEW READING LOG 📚I absolutely loved the start of a new month when teaching because it always meant a fresh reading log in take-home folders. My students always looked forward to their new logs so they could see the new picture they would be coloring for each book they read.I used their monthly reading logs for the Pizza Hut @bookitprogram and also with my classroom reward system. I also let students borrow books who may not have had too many at home. These were always a huge hit with students and families!🔗 bit.ly/readinglogsallyear ... See MoreSee Less
