Yay, it’s May!

Crossing off another thing on my blogging bucket list … linking up for
Farley’s Currently!

Listening … My husband’s friend is out of town so we’re watching his 2 golden retrievers for the weekend. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE dogs but it’s been 24 hours and there’s tumbleweeds of dog fur already floating around my house!

Loving … I’m so excited to do my first Currently! Yay for blogging!

Thinking … I have lots to do this weekend so I’m going to start by organizing my to do list (so I’m pretty much procrastinating already!)

Wanting … We had really bad storms here today! So bad that our whole school was restricted from moving anywhere (luckily we go to lunch so early that we were still able to get our kids to lunch in the cafeteria). Then, a 1st grade class had to join in with my Kinder class for the afternoon because they evacuated their building since the sidewalks were starting to flood around it. And now I have to get 3 dogs to go outside in this rain, yuck!

Needing … I’m a bookworm and I can usually read a book in 2 days or less if I have nothing else going on. I’ve been so crazy busy recently that I’ve been reading the same book for weeks…it’s killing me! It’s the 3rd book in a series which always seems to take me longer to get through (Shatter Me series – YA dystopia). I’m just hoping to get through it this weekend so I don’t get charged late fees at the library!

Surprise! … I “met” Cassie from Mrs. Thomas’s Class through a Facebook group. She’s super sweet and teaches Kindergarten like me! She wanted her kiddos to have pen pals to write to for the rest of the year so we’ve teamed up. Such a cute idea and my kids love that we have “friends” in Texas!

Click her button to go to her blog!

Happy Friday and happy May! Only 24 days left for me until summer!!

It's so funny that you want it to stop raining and I want it to rain more! We have just come out of summer in Australia and I am loving that it is cooling down! I am a huge procrastinator – which is why I am blog hopping right now!
    Have a great weekend!

Welcome to currently! I'm from Florida – around the Lake Okeechobee. But then I moved to Tampa. Where are you at?

Have you used @playosmo at home or in your classro Have you used @playosmo at home or in your classroom??

We were lucky enough to be gifted this Little Genius Starter Kit and it is the coolest thing ever! My 4 year old is hooked and I love that she's learning while playing on the iPad. ➡️ Swipe to check out the letter formation game she was working on.

From phonics and numbers to storytelling and coding, there are so many games, activities and kits to choose from! There's even a Disney Frozen activity kit that I may already have hidden away for Hanukkah!

Osmo would be the perfect addition to any classroom too (especially if you already have an iPad!) I could see this being used during reading or math centers. How would you use Osmo in your classroom??
