Currently April!

Another new month, another Currently with Farley!!

Listening:
I got hooked on Arrow in the fall, but the problem was that I needed to catch up on the first 2 seasons. I’m finally caught up to the episodes I recorded on my DVR … time to watch all 10 of them so I’m up to date!!

Loving:
I’m in love with 3-day weekends! That is all.

Thinking:
There’s only a few hours left in my giveaway over on the iTeach Kinder blog! Head on over to read about my Read-Trace-Write-Glue Sight Word Sentences and enter to win the full pack!

Wanting:
One more thing for you to do! But you’ll like it, promise!

I really want you to check out the new Educents Marketplace!! If you don’t know about Educents, they offer great discounts on digital and hard good products for teaching. Now you can shop in the stores and get more great products!
Check out my POST from yesterday to read more and enter a giveaway with win $50 in Edubucks!
{Click the image to go to my store!}

Needing:
I need to remember that the grocery store is closed on Sunday so I need to get that done today or tomorrow! (One of my many least favorite chores!!)

EGGS-plain your name:
I have a minor obsession with apple “things” – not eating apples and not Mac products… just apple stuff! When I started blogging, I knew I had to have an ‘apple’ name. If you follow me on Instagram, then you know my name over there is @peaceloveapples… I got into the IG game a little late and my blog name was taken!

It starts at home πŸ–€πŸ€ŽπŸ€ Did some coloring It starts at home πŸ–€πŸ€ŽπŸ€

Did some coloring with my girl today using Bellen's @morethanpeachproject crayons.

We talked about the different shades of peach and brown that we were using. We found crayons to match our skin and the skin color of Doc McStuffins on the shirt she was wearing today. The reaction from her was "oooooh look at all the browns!!" 🀎

Today is a great day to support Black-owned businesses. If you haven't seen these crayons before, please go visit Bellen's page and check them out.

I made these simple and fun letter practice pages recently and wanted to share them with you all!! Head to the link in my bio to find out more on my blog.

I wrote the letters on sticker dots and had her match the lowercase letters to uppercase letters.

Side note: This girl does NOT like doing learning activities like this so the fact that she willingly did these makes me so happy and proud!!

One of our go to activities the past week has been our Hanukkah sensory bin. I used blue rice, cookie cutters, dreidels, and added a few pom poms for a different texture.

She also had various cups, containers, and spoons to use for scooping, filling, and pouring.

Practice and learn some Christmas and Hanukkah vocabulary words by reading the words and moving the letters to spell the words.

Students can also add a text box to practice typing the words.
