I absolutely loved the start of a new month when teaching because it always meant a fresh reading log in take-home folders. My students always looked forward to their new logs so they could see the new picture they would be coloring for each book they read.![]()

I used their monthly reading logs for the Pizza Hut @bookitprogram and also with my classroom reward system. I also let students borrow books who may not have had too many at home. These were always a huge hit with students and families!![]()
